# Changelog

> What shipped in Radial, newest first. Features, improvements, and fixes.

What changed in Radial, newest first. Each date is grouped into features,
improvements, and fixes. A change nobody can see is left out.

This is the same shape [`rd-changelog`](/docs/skills/rd-changelog) writes.

## 2026-10-01

### Improvements

- The docs now explain how to design a development workflow, record it in
Radial, and configure the pipeline. Start with
  [Design your development workflow](/docs/workflows).

## 2026-09-16

### Features

- An agent build leaves a record on its issue: the stages, the time spent on
each child issue, each check and the evidence behind it, and a timeline of
what the agent did across sessions. Read it on the issue, or from the CLI,
MCP, and the REST API ([Build records](/docs/skills/builds)).

## 2026-09-14

### Features

- `radial skills install` sets up the Radial workflows for Claude Code and
Codex. The same command updates, lists, removes, and extends them, and
checks each file before writing it
  ([Install and update](/docs/skills/install)).

### Improvements

- `radial update` can add or remove one label without replacing the rest.

## 2026-08-24

### Fixes

- The Preview comments panel opens only for a file that already has comments,
so a new prototype uses the full canvas.

## 2026-08-07

### Fixes

- Search finds an issue from its number alone, in the command palette, the
CLI, MCP, and the REST API.
- Pull request automation follows the repository's current default branch,
even when that branch changed after you connected the repository.
- Light theme text, icons, selection, and hover stay readable.
- A long file name in Preview stays on one line, and the full name is in a
  tooltip.

## 2026-08-05

### Features

- The command palette searches issues, comments, and projects. It matches the
start of a word as you type, and shows results from what is already loaded
  before the server answers.

### Fixes

- Comments load again from the CLI, MCP, and the REST API.
